Attorney Kendall has over 25 years of legal experience and practices in the area of family law, including divorce, support, custody and protection from abuse. Attorney Kendall has been practicing law since 1985 and has handled hundreds of divorce, support, custody and protection from abuse cases.
As a former prosecutor, and as 25-year litigator, Attorney Kendall has developed extensive courtroom and trial experience. Attorney Kendall is most at home in the courtroom and enjoys family law cases that involve court proceedings, such as contested divorce, custody, support and protection from abuse cases. As a seasoned prosecutor and litigator, Attorney Kendall has refined his litigation skills over the years and is well-suited to provide quality legal counsel to family law clients involved in contested cases.
Attorney Kendall's litigation experience also serves him well in preventing family law cases from ending up in court. Attorney Kendall knows how expensive and unpredictable litigation can become when they end up in court. That is why he strives to settle cases prior to court, so long as the settlement is the best interest of the client. Opposing parties and opposing counsel are inclined to act reasonably in attempting to settle a family law case when they know they have a seasoned and skilled litigator on the other side of the case.
As a former prosecutor who prosecuted spousal abuse and child abuse cases, Attorney Kendall is well-qualified to represent parties involved in custody and protection from abuse cases involving all forms of abuse, including child sexual abuse. Any party involved in a family law case involving allegations of abuse is well advised to have a former prosecutor and current defense attorney on their side.
Before his arrival at Scaringi & Scaringi, PC Attorney Kendall spent sixteen years as a solo practitioner. Prior to that Attorney Kendall practiced in small firms and government agencies, including now Mifflin County President Judge Timothy S. Searer's private law office, the Mifflin County District Attorney's office as an Assistant District Attorney, the Pennsylvania State Police and MidPenn Legal Services. He has extensive experience in family law as a private defense attorney in family law and other areas.
Mr. Kendall lives in Hampden Township, Cumberland County with his wife and son. Attorney Kendall has a proven track record of successful, effective and creative representation of individuals.
